Eat Garlic and Skip the Flu !

“A clove of crushed garlic is a top source of immune-boosting allicin. (In fact, the only way to activate the antioxidant is by chopping raw garlic.) Allicin increases the body’s production of white blood cells to fight off bacterial and viral infections. In one British study, participants who had a daily dose of allicin were 57 percent less likely to catch a cold.”
